THE FREEDOM NEWSLETTER | ISSUE 18 | MARCH 8, 2024 Hi Reader, 🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨As you may have seen, there have been many ongoing lawsuits against real estate brokerages, multiple listing services and others concerning buyer agent commissions. Several big name brokerages, such as Keller Williams and Re/Max, have settled these cases. In one such settlement between a group of home sellers and MLS Property Information Network, or MLS PIN, a regional database featuring thousands of homes for sale in New England, the Department of Justice has stepped in and asked the Judge to REJECT the settlement because the DOJ thinks that it is too lax. Here is a video explaining the situation further and the far-reaching impact this could have on buyer agent commissions and the real estate industry!
